Apple Juice - Outside apples

We do make apple juice for other people but we do have very strict guidelines regarding the condition of the apples.

There are approximately 5 tennis ball size apples in one 750ml bottle of juice and we require a minimum of 100 bottles for a pasteurisation run so this gives you some idea of how many apples you would need to get your own juice made by us, ie approximately 500 tennis ball size apples! Below is a rough guide for you to follow.

Small apple medium apple Very large apple
7 TRAYS OF 160 APPLES OF THIS SIZE
7 TRAYS OF 80 APPLES OF THIS SIZE
7 TRAYS OF 40 APPLES OF THIS SIZE

Your apples must be:

1. Freshly picked the day before or on the day itself before you bring them to us.

2. Must be picked straight off the tree, no windfalls.

3. Must be free from bruising, holes or bird droppings

4. Must be traceable back to one orchard, ie not multiple pickings from around the area!

5. There must be enough for 100 bottles of juice, approximately 900 apples.

6. For the palatability of your juice you are recommended to have more than one variety of apple, with an acidic cooker included unless you particularly wanted a single variety juice.

You drop them off to us, we process them, you come back and collect your bottles of juice that we have added a batch number and best before date onto but you add your own label, obviously for a fee!

If you are interested in us juicing your apples please contact us.
