Once a private Estate known as Porters Park, then a site of a Mental Hospital, Shenley Park is now a unique self-funding Park for all. The Park is steeped in history and hosts an Orchard, Meadow, Woodland walks,Historic buildings and an amazing 2 acre landscaped Walled Garden with an amphitheatre. For a map of the Park click here. FOR HIRE FUNCTION HALL- THE CHAPEL THE WALLED GARDEN TENNIS COURTS   Walled Garden Opening Times (until Easter 2012) Mon - Fri 10-4pm, closed at weekends.	WALLED GARDEN OPEN ON MOTHERS DAY IN AID OF THE NATIONAL GARDEN SCHEME CHARITY (NGS). THE WALLED GARDEN IS CLOSED AT WEEKENDS UNTIL EASTER 2012. HOWEVER IT SHALL BE OPEN FROM 12-5pm. SMALL ENTRANCE FEE OF £3 TO INCLUDE TEA, COFFEE OR APPLE JUICE AND A SLICE OF CAKE. ALL PROCEEDS GOING TO THE NGS CHARITY.
